Wisconsin Farm Bureau Seeks Coordinator For Ag in the Classroom Program

Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation is seeking applicants for the position of Ag in the Classroom Coordinator.

Duties include developing and maintaining a strong base of materials and resources for K-12 teachers and students that meet Wisconsin Academic Standards as provided by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. This position works directly with local Agriculture in the Classroom volunteers, educators and agribusiness partners to develop projects and activities that expand the scope and visibility of the program statewide.

The Ag in the Classroom Coordinator develops and maintains a network of agricultural partners to work cooperatively at promoting agricultural literacy and securing financial support for the program. This position regularly promotes program activities, resource materials and related agricultural awareness events through print, electronic and social media and writes and administers grants and promotes sponsorship opportunities to support program.

This position requires regular in-state travel and occasional travel to out-of-state events. A company vehicle is provided. This position is based in Madison but consideration for remote work will be given for qualified candidates.
